About Me

 ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Jeremy grew up loving the game of baseball. After high school, he attended Stony Brook University on an athletic scholarship as a switch-hitting short-stop. Soon after, he became an outfielder/closing pitcher for his sophomore and junior seasons. Searching for opportunities to grow and more opportunities to possibly playing past college baseball, Jeremy transfered to University at Mount Olive for his senior season. In his only season there, Jeremy learned truly what it took for him to develop his raw talents as a 5-tool player. He set the school record in single season hits (99) and average .449 as well as finished conference Player of the Year hitting 17 home runs and stealing 27 bases. After that 2010 season, Jeremy was drafted in the 13th round by the Baltimore Orioles as an outfielder.

Through 3 seasons with the Orioles, and 2 promotions, he made the 2012 Advanced-A All-Star team and eventually went on to lead the team (Frederick Keys) in hits and average. Full story can be seen here.

In total, Jeremy finished his professional career with 3 years of Minor League Baseball and 3 years of Independent Baseball.

Through his professional career, Jeremy also took the time to give personal hitting lessons and teaching young hitters all the things he has learned. He is a student of the game and likes to look into all the newest trends when it comes to the evolution of the sport itself. With pitchers throwing harder and harder every year, he believes hitters have the opportunity to grow just as quickly.

Today, Jeremy has grown a social media presence know as “The Swingman”. He began impersonating swings of Major League Baseball players, and eventually added in hitting/workout tips along with his path to becoming a Professional Long Drive Competitor.

As for baseball, Jeremy continues to give local private hitting lessons and now offers his services to anyone looking to become better hitter. He has broken hitting down into 3 main areas for hitters to train (bat path, bat speed, and rhythm/timing), with many drills to help get any hitter to where they want to be in terms of speed, control, and confidence.
